More than for its dance, Nach Baliye 9 is making headlines for drama, fights and controversies. Earlier, ex-contestants Urvashi Dholakia-Anuj Sachdev and Madhurima Tuli-Vishal Aditya Singh created a stir on the show with nefarious controversies. However, here we are talking about Shantanu Maheshwari and Nityaami Shirke who are once again in the news for the wrong reasons but this time it involves one of the judges Raveena Tandon.
Well, according to a report in Hindustan Times, the dancer-turned actor complained to the creative team about the judges' bias towards a few contestants and how he did not appreciate their recent comments. However, the drama doesn't end here, it has also been reported that Raveena heard of Shantanu's concerns and decided to confront the contestant about the same.
‘Do you think are we not doing our jobs properly?’ the judges asked, according to a source as quoted by the leading portal. “The judges further told him that instead of going and talking to the creative team, he should have approached them about the same. Shantanu was quiet after that, but he cried backstage,” the source added.
If you remember, a source revealed to SpotboyE.com that Maheshwari and Shirke are faking their relationship just to stay in the show. However, the report also mentioned that either the makers are unaware of this fact or maybe just playing along with it, knowing how difficult it was for them to find the contestants for the ninth season of Nach Baliye.
Nach Baliye 9 airs on Star Plus on Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm.
